.the fact that "she" claims to be at home and safe is the biggest red flag seeing how this is the first place they'll be contacted at.
It is likely that she is under house arrest, so technically it might be true that she is home and safe. But it is still a red flag as people have things to do and don't just stay home and rest.
And as the forged email clearly failed, they have now got her to post 3 pictures of herself on WeChat moment. They are still failing to make a convincing argument as the pictures look like photoshoots and it shows pictures of children's toys, her cat, and Winnie de Pooh without any context.
The pictures got shared on Twitter by Shen Shiwei. He claims to have received the picture from one of her friends, but as someone pointed out her "friend" is called Peng Shuai 2.
I'd go as far as saying the email itself is an attempt to be anti-chinese propaganda as no government can be that dumb.
