just look up when this guy built a functional compass, earthquake detector and a model of the solar system.

you people are still germanic tribes living in caves at that time.
Look up the Antikythera Machine. That was created when the Chinese still thought the Earth floated on water.

Its the Greeks around 400 BC or so that are credited with the first heliocentric solar model.

However, there is at least 1 Sumerian tablet that clearly shows a Sun with 10 planets around it. Why 10? Because they also have a story about a 10th planet that was destroyed which created the asteroid belt. They aren't given credit for this because modern scientists say its impossible they knew this information. Kinda weird they would name all 10 of them though if they didn't know about them.

The other two were invented around 1 or 200 BC. Clearly, Europeans weren't cave dwellers at that point in time.

Yes the Chinese dynasties did have some great discoveries and inventions, along with nearly every other culture around the world.

lol

Because they didn't have to invent their way through it. They just imported the tech to do it from the west.

Also they gave up on communist economic policies and adopted a hybrid capitalist system for the markets. lol.

That and they stole a ton of IP from western companies.

Oh and the US provided safe shipping lanes and invited them into the global trading system allowing them to import energy and raw materials. China is one of the most import dependant countries on the planet.

Without those things China would resemble Myanmar right about now.

Engines.

Best to look up what country makes the engines for this "new" aeroplane.

Basically, they using engines manufactured as part of partnership with American and French companies. Plan is to by 2025 to utilize their own China-made CJ1000 engines, because let's face it, like semi-conductor chips the U.S. will try to weaponize the supply chain. Looks like the world is fastly splitting into blocs.

the difference is that the chinese civilization is still the here after all these years. The guy that did all those things has the same last name as many of the chinese today.

it's as if greek/roman empire still exists today. too bad they were sacked by you barbarians. I'm sure the romans and greeks are way better people than germanic tribes and vikings.

Those are excellent talking points for someone who doesn't have any real argument or personal achievements to stand on. It's no different from a hillbilly forklift operator bragging that he's superior to a black or Asian person because other white people landed on the moon first.

Chinese nationalists harp on ancient China's achievements as being peerless and unassailable, but overlook the fact that the vast bulk of Chinese people are, like the rest of the world, average.

You are just coming across as a bitter, childish troll with dumb crap like this, stating that the Romans and Greeks are better than the Germanic tribes and Vikings - and, I'm sure, their descendants - in an attempt to use past grandeur to overshadow current reality.

The Chinese dynasties doesn't exist anymore either as it collapsed in 1911.

It also got further destroyed by the communist "barbarians" that wanted to eradicate traditional Chinese culture and replace it with an ideology that originated from the west.
