I came across this interview with Australian comedian Tim Minchin. This is not just another comedian having a joke about America, it is a thoughtful interview on atheism and its place in America. I think there is a lot of points raised in this interview that would be of interest to atheists in this forum and a good overview on how you are viewed by other countries. I think it also illustrates the importance of comedy and entertainment in making change.

I thought that was very interesting. Entertainment has always been used to challenge, enlighten, and stretch us, as well as amuse. I think he's right about the industry being afraid to push the limits of religion. I'm still upset that "Creation", the Darwin movie in 2009, caused such a stink. How ridiculous!

Anyway, it was a very good interview.
