Any references to similar experiments proving god?

And that's faith. But you're only supposed to have faith in God. So you're going to hell for your religion of not believing in the Tooth Fairy. Good job.

Come on, lacking belief in something isn't a faith, it's just being reasonable in admitting that there's no reason to believe something. But it's curious that believers are so conflicted about faith. It's supposedly some terrific gift from god on the one hand, and then they're throwing it around like it's an insult to put down someone else's beliefs in the next. Make up your mind - which is it?

Michael Shermer's talk at the Freethought convention was about this tendency of humans to see patterns. He points out that we developed this in order to stay safe from predators. Assuming that a rustle in the bushes is a predator is safer than assuming that it is just the wind, so we assume predator whether or not their is anything there.

If it is anything tangible, it will not be invisible, at least with the proper instrumentation. It must be reproducible. Otherwise, how is any figment of the imagination or outright deception to be separated from what is real and factual? Holy books and dogma don't qualify.
