Do you own a Bible or other religious book? When was the last time you opened it?

I had a couple of Bibles for a long time, but I have found digital books much more convenient as I can have my whole library with me wherever I go. I can read the Bible online anytime I want to, so it's like any other book for me now, reduced to some inconvenienced electrons.

Same here. All our Bibles are in the basement with the concordance and other assorted reference books. Google suffices for all my Bible needs these days...

I've got a digital copy of the Bible and almost every other religious text. Most of my "religious" books are about Zen, Buddhism, and Taoism. I don't really consider them religious - I see them as philosophy, and as guides to live by. I have a few books about atheism, though (Dawkins, etc.).

Yes, I have it shelved along with my other mythology books. I open it from time to time as a reference when I'm debating with a christian over something.

Edited to add: It was the only gift I still have from my grandmother and is leather bound with my name engraved in it. That's the main reason I still have it.

I still have my bible on a bookshelf because like the previous poster, it has my name engraved on it.

Yes. It was a gift from my late grandmother. I never read it. It's in German. "Die Bibel"

No.

I had one, but I haven't seen it in years. No matter; it was only for reference, and now that is all easily accessible online.
