It is what it is. You atheists have to use a Christian calendar. How did they figure out that that extra quarter of the day in 1582?

The Earth must rotate more than 360 degrees between one dawn and the next. The amount of time it takes for the Earth to rotate once on its axis is known as a sidereal day – which is 23.9344696 hours. Eratosthenes, around 200 B.C., determined that the length of the year was 365.25 days, even suggesting adding a leap day every four years.

I believe the leap year was worked out in Caesar's time. Before Christianity was invented, you know? And the Christians adopted the calendar that was in use when Jupiter was worshipped.
