Kinda similar I suppose. There were two of them, "Oh, God" and "oh, God, you Devil". They are so old now but at the time they were pretty controversial. I thought they were cute and humorous. It wouldn't be the last time god was portrayed as a human. Bruce Almighty and Evan Almighty come to mind. Blasphemy to some, all-in-good-humor to others.

All I remember is that people got all jacked up when George Burns said (as God)... "Jesus was my son, and then listed all the other holy men from religion as being his sons before saying that John Denver was his son".

As for this effort. I watched about half of it. Most of it fell flat but the there were a few good lines. Mostly "God" saying "don't blame me for this crazy stuff Christians are saying and doing these days".

Oh yeah I remember that, god called everyone "his son" in the bible, like you would say to a young man who helped you. Thank you son. Talk about blowing something out of proportion.

LOL I don't remember that line, funny.
