Who is asking you to ‘pander’ to/agree with me? It’s you who keeps it going. I simply stated my opinion; it could have ended pages ago, had you not continued to harp on it.
It’s obvious you’re angrily trying to override my (reasonable, logical) opinion, but it isn’t going to change (no matter how much you scream ‘ban him’ or gnaw on it like a bone). I’m an atheist who has expressed my rejection of the Bible in an appropriate thread to do so; your (ongoing) emotional outbursts relative to such are absurd. It’s clear to see a calm, reasonable discussion with you is impossible.

Your opinion is patently absurd. Everyone else who's weighed in on the issue has agreed with me. Far be it for me to appeal to popularity, as I am not used to doing that, but in this case, given that I actually respect the group to which I appeal...
I think it crazy you think it notable an atheist rejects the Bible or has no reason to quote scripture, yet alone consider it ‘patently absurd’. That said, I really do think you’ve lost it and can see a calm, reasonable discussion with you is impossible.

He said in an earlier post that his dad was/is an atheist and his mom a Christian. The entire exchange (him versus 5 or 6 others) hinges on his inability to recognize that there might be reason for atheists to reference Bible verses when dealing with believers who oftentimes may be curious/ignorant about their own scripture
