I may not be a Christian, but some times I like the Christmas carols. That doesn't mean that I need to hear them from the day after Thanksgiving on. Are they trying to make us hate it? I say start DEC. 15th, then it wouldn't drive me quite as crazy.

I am not Christian but I do celebrate Christmas with friends and family. It is a time for love and sharing and giving of gifts to dear ones. I like the music, the color, the hubbub that goes along with the season so...I guess I don't escape at all. Right now I have Josh Groban's Christmas Album from last year (Noel) playing in my office. Then again, I listen to Josh Groban all year long, no matter the season!
I am the same way, after the first day or two I just cut off the radio. I wonder if advertisers recognize the affect it has on many of their listeners. It makes me want to give out personal ear phones so I won’t have to hear the songs repeated dozens of times. It just adds to the stress of the holiday.
