Can anyone recommend an area around ATL that is pretty rural and quiet but still within commuting distance to the perimeter/buckhead? I'm talking horse farms, produce stands, not much traffic, etc.

Thanks so much for your help!

Depends on how you define "commuting distance". There are parts of Cherokee and Bartow Counties that will fit that bill, but are 40-60 miles from the Perimeter area. There are also parts of North Fulton County that have horse properties and are less than 20 miles, but you'd better have a 7-figure budget.

Atlanta isn't know for beinq "country" as you describe it..... You would have to qo down to south qeorqia for rural....Atlanta is a city......you would have to drive an hour and a half either direction for rural...which i don't think is a commute
