Hi guys,

My sister is getting married at home and we're thinking about, after ceremony at home, we will go have nice dinner at some restaurant around here.

Can't seem to find decent fine dining (it doesn't have to be that formal / fancy / extravagant.. just nice food, good service, good atmosphere etc) in Duluth / Lawrenceville area.

Any recommendation? Thanks so much!

Try Aqua Terra Bistro in old down town Buford. The food is excellent. We go there for all of our special occasion dinners. You can see the menu on their web site aquaterrabistro dot com.

Garrison's closed ages ago. Trattoria 141 isn't bad, Grace 17 20 in the forum, HiLife or di paolo also are nearby.

Grace 17 20 is excellent.

I also recommend Sia's on Medlock Bridge and Wilson.

There's always The Melting Pot.

Trattoria 141 is my favorite Italian restaurant, but it's quite small on the inside. It's in Johns Creek.

Pampas, an Argentinian steakhouse is wonderful and also in Johns Creek.

I recommend Park Cafe in Duluth, it's one of the best restaurants I've been to in a while and one of the few that I'll drive OTP for (nothing against OTP, I just really don't like to drive). They have great wine, a fabulous menu that has southern touches without being too southern, and great desserts. They're caramel pecan cheesecake is one of the best I've ever had.

Edit: This is in historic Duluth, which has some places within walking distance that would provide really pretty pictures post wedding if desired.
