Right, but inside the city it seems like you'd expect the gay clubs to be predominantly black.

Bull Dogs used to be a white bar.. What Happen: blacks started pouring in and now it's all black.. I believe that same trend maybe happening with blakes on sunday nights it's more intergrated now than it used to be.. Too be honest there are more white bars and clubs than blacks. Black clubs are usually straight clubs that have a gay night.

There are way more white/mixed gay bars than majority black gay bars. Bulldogs is the only "black gay bar" that comes to mind, compared to Blakes, Burkharts, Mary's, the Eagle, etc. And if we're going to say that the racial composition of bars should reflect the racial makeup of the city, it would be closer to 50/50.

Yeah, I'd expect them to be mixed but predominantly black, just based on the city's demographics. Or am I misunderstanding what you're saying?

And what happened with Bulldogs? Did whites just quit going when blacks "came pouring in"?

Really? I did not know that.

What is the racial makeup of the city these days? And what about Hispanic and Asian populations?

There usually mixed in with the white community. Lots of latinos are at Chapparal on friday nights...

For blacks, gay nights are usually at alot of straight clubs. Like Primal, Inferno, Rain, Club Life, The Mansion aka club dreams etc. Then we have one white club which is the jungle, The blacks use that on Monday nights for the big Drag shows.. There is only 2 clubs that are owned by blacks. Even bulldogs owner is white..

The exact racial comp of the city won't be known until the census results come in. Regardless, there has been an influx of whites and an exiting of blacks.

For one, Atlanta is becoming more white. Many blacks have fled the city’s aging neighborhoods, and white families are moving in, attracted by historic housing stock and closer proximity to jobs. In 2000, Atlanta was 33 percent white. In 2007, it was 38 percent white. Between 2000 and 2006, Atlanta’s white population grew faster than that of any other US city, according to a study by the Brookings Institution. As far as gay nightlife goes, it seems that there are always less white patrons at black bars than there are blacks at white bars. There is just as much segregation and prejudice in the gay community as there is in the straight. Latinos and Asians seem to stick to the white bars.

That's with just about anything. Blacks are used to being the minority within the larger society and so have less of a problem patronizing places where they are not the majority, whereas Whites are used to being the majority and so may feel uncomfortable in a setting where they are the minority, whether it's a club, bar, restaurant, comedy show, church, neighborhood, etc.
