It still doesn't seem right that she has to serve a minimum of 36 years, but a maximum of 50. Doesn't seem like justice to me or those families.

Too harsh. Twenty for Aimee would have been about right.

I wonder why there were no charges related to this.

Maybe the sentence reflects that. It is an incredibly difficult case for all concerned.

age 24. 50 year sentence, 36 years must be served and then 14 years on probation. By the time she's free of the judicial system she will be 70 years old. What a tragedy all the way around. Her parents will probably die while she's in jail.

I have no sympathy for this girl or her mother. They are too wenches. I wonder does she think of the beautiful family she killed and the gorgeous daughter she took from loving parents. This case disgusts me. She or her family never even said "sorry". No accountability what so ever but I am glad the state is making them both be accountable for their actions. Yes her life will be washed down the tube, she will never get to be a mom, a wife or any of that because she was so reckless and dishonest.

she got 1 count of causing serious bodily injury...i heard one of the victims were cut in half
