BTW, we are getting off and on flurries in NW DeKalb as we speak.
Flurries in East Cobb, right now, as well!

last year my location was colder than anchorage, ak... in february.

I'm confused...are people saying that Atlanta's winters aren't that different from the north in terms of temperature? Because that just isn't so.

But people in the north definitely underrate how cold it gets down here, just like people in the south underrate how hot it gets in the north.

I will concur with that. When I moved to Maryland from Ga I was surprised at how hot it was over the summer. It was just as hot and on some days hotter than in Ga.

I always grocery shop on Sunday. I promise that I wasn't there to get milk and bread because of the snow -- it was just that I needed them along with the rest of my list.

The store was much busier than normal which really messed up my routine. UGH.

Yesterday my neighbor was in the yard in short sleeves and shorts. brrr. I was bundled up.

There are many opinions on the weather. It is likely that this winter will be colder than usual.
