My 32-mile commute, which normally takes about an hour when I leave work at 5, took 2 1/2 hours. Half of that time was spent within 8 miles of my house as I tried to figure out how to get from 92 up in to Woodstock. Neese was closed so I resorted to Trickum, and traffic was at a near standstill.

My neighbor says it took her 45 minutes to an hour to get from 92 and Hwy 5 in to downtown Woodstock. That's about 2 miles.

What a nightmare!!!

Same here. I was fine until I got off 575- then it took me over an hour to go 4 miles to the house. It took my wife almost 3 hours to get home from the gym- 8 miles.

a "normal" commute of about 25-30 minutes from the loop to Woodstock took me about 1.5 hours. Stuck on Canton Road for a good 35 minutes.

i was visiting my parents place off wiley bridge (willow tree sub) and left around 7:30; most were going 5-10 under, but there were a few 20mph slowpokes causing some rather insane backups, 25 car bumper to bumper chains. (luckily i was headed in the opposite direction) was taking my usual shortcut to 400. (cox -> king -> 92/140) 5spds FTW

the normally 30m drive took over an hour.

Mine was ok on the train with no delays. When I got off the bus at my building though I basically had to slide my way in to the door. LOL.

Left work at 4:30 pm (Sandy Springs area Abernathy road and the 400) and got to the temporary housing near Permimeter Mall around 4:40. About 1 mile drive. Got home before the rain and cold freeze though.

In weather like this I feel so lucky to work from home. However, I nearly killed myself last night when stepped on an icy patch while walking out to get the mail. Sheesh! I'm tired of winter already and it's not even officially here.
