While this is true, I too feel that the crime-rate for the far south Metro (Stockbridge, McDonough, Locus Grove) and the far east Metro (Conyers, Covington) has skyrocketed over the last two decades.

Unfortunately I think some of that has to do with the way those areas dumbly built cheap cookie-cutter housing without much thought.
