Who thinks the MARTA should be expanded to include Cobb,Gwinnett, and the other metro Atlanta counties?

How much more though? How much do you have to commute? If you drive 20 days a month, and your vehicle gets 24mpg, you should pay $172 in gas from Lawrenceville to Georgia State. A 20mpg vehicle would cost you $207.

The idea that people think that MARTA "ruins neighborhoods" always baffles me. In large cities, rich and poor alike take public transportation without this ridiculous stigma being attached to it. Neither can everyone AFFORD to live in the city, so they can conveniently be down the street from their office. If it was just about choice, we wouldn't have half the problems that currently exists in this city. This is exactly the type of thinking that hinders progress...SMH.

BTW, also burglarized by men in a car when I used to live in Buckhead. Had nothing to do with a rail/bus line.

It's keeping a lot of people from moving out where they would like to live, and I think many of my neighbors in No Fulton are thankful for it.

First of all, someone bumped a 7 year old thread.

Second of all: This poll has inadequate choices, because most of what Cobb needs are two light rail connections to MARTA and then a light rail connection from Cumberland to Town Center. The name doesn't matter. It could be CCT. So, it doesn't have to be MARTA. Nor does it have to be heavy rail. The six flags area probably could do with light rail too, but MARTA is so close that a MARTA connection there would make sense.
