I'll put in yet another vote for the Marietta Fish Market. I order the Grouper and request for it to be Blackended, and it's among the best I've ever had. They have the four restaurants, but a couple of them are more run-down and "iffy" in quality. This one (so far) hasn't disappointed me.

We eat a lot at the Marietta Diner and I've eaten several times at Pasta Bella, and neither of those two are run-down or iffy, IMO. Especially the former.

Never been to the other one. Cherokee Cattle Co?

I've had two meals at the Marietta Diner and both times the food didn't agree with me, but admittedly, both times it involved fried foods, so maybe it has something to do with the oil they use. Others I know have got their hot dinners and open-faced sandwiches and said they're find, so I'll go back and try those. They do offer limited seafood, too.

Pasta Bella to me is run down. Lots of chips/nicks on the walls, run-down wallpaper and paint, and several areas we saw that needed a good scrubbing. The food was ok - just not "wow" ok. I've not yet tried the Cattle Company - one coworker said "it smells like pee there" but I'll eventually try it myself to see. I still give the Marietta Fish Market the higher of the ratings of all their places I've been to.

Also been to the Bay Breeze in Mableton and yes, it's also very good - not sure I'd go to that particular neighborhood at night, but have had lunch there and it's fine. Good selection.

Ate at Marietta Diner recently and would never go there again. Large portions of simply horrible food. Plainly, others think differently! Diversity is good.

Nicky's Seafood at 609 Whitehall... it might look like the little hole in the wall kind of place, but the food is fresh cooked and fantastic! The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

Looks a bit more like home made style (like the website). I will add to the list, thanks.

So any more?

I know this is a 'seafood' thread, but, if sushi counts, I'm giving thumbs up to Kochi on Lawrenceville Hwy in Tucker. Beautiful food - and scrumptious! Great atmosphere - considering 10 of us were in there having a 50th birthday party - lol...
