Detriot is literally the only city where I had to go through a metal detector before I went into a movie theater to watch a movie.

It completely psyched me out and I was concerned that the loud mouth that kept yelling at the screen was going to stab me with a plastic knife or a homemade shank after I asked him to be quiet.

Detroit suburbs beat out atlanta burbs by a mile...B'ham, Royal Oak, A2, Grosse Point etc are much nicer than anything Atlanta has tooffer -Norcross, Marietta...Decatur is as good as it gets for suburban atlanta and it is meager compared to the Detroit burbs...

But the city of Atlanta is much nicer than the city of Detroit!

Driveing in the D is much much much easier than driving in ATL, as previously mentioned...

Yeah, I still remember regularly going to the Southfield City AMC Theaters and having to pass through the metal detectors.

Hell, I was amazed that there are banks and stores in other places outside Detroit that DON'T have 6" thick bulletproof glass.
It feels good not having to talk into a speaker when you are looking directly at the person.

It's weird what you consider normal and then you move away and realize how crazy things real are where you used to live.

That depends. I've been known to maneuver my way around, avoiding 285, 75/85 and GA400 with the best of 'em.
