Are there any intown neighborhood Twitter groups? Something like an on-line neighborhood watch? I'll confess I'm not too familiar with how Twitter works, but is there a way for subscribers to tweet when they notice something suspicious in the neighborhood?
The Midtown Ponce Security Alliance has one but (much like their website) it doesn't seem to be updated very often. Plus, I'm outside their boundaries in Morningside.

Patch.com has reporters who tweet in neighborhoods in metro Atlanta. Just click on the Patch.com map by state and find the neighborhood you are in. The twitter icon is on the top right of the page. Example: Midtown: Amy Wenk (MidtownPatch) on Twitter

I haven't noticed any neighborhood twitter accounts, but many of the intown neighborhoods have extremely active e-mail groups. The e-mails were flying fast and furious today on the intownneighbors, vhlist, and morningsidelenoxpark YahooGroups during the incident on Greenland.
