For those of you in Cobb or if you don't mind driving for good food.

We were up there yesterday for the MS Walk and wish we could have gone back today for some eating. Downtown Marietta is one of my favorite places in the metro area.

How was the festival?

Drove through Marietta on my way back from riding on the Silver Comet. Oh my!! The place was packed. No parking in sight: lots of cars and lots of people. Sure glad I didn't go to the festival.

Today they had the Taste of Marietta, Smyrna Jonquil Festival and the Inman Park Festival all scheduled among some other smaller festivals throughout the metro area. I lucked out - the road construction wasn't as bad as normal on I-20 so I made it to the Inman Park Fest. Good day, though the stuff there seemed a littler pricier than the norm, so I didn't buy much.

Forgot about Inman park.....yeah the Smryna festival was nice, though they ran out of shrimp/crawfish for the boil late Sunday

Picked up some nice items from local vendors, we try our best to support local people.
