Yes - there is an emissions inspection. The cost is $25.

Some places will do it for $20, at least in Cobb County.

Once a car turns 25 years old there is NO emmision testing required.

Mine is getting there. It's 17 now. And I just replaced the catalytic converter this past fall (failed my first emissions test ever!), so it should be good to go for a while.

Oh ... just passed 198,500 miles! w00t! I loooooove my Accord.

I just got my car inspected today- I went to a guy in a little hut by outside of Target. He just sits in his lawn chair with his dog waiting to charge people $25 for a few minutes of work. A little strange....

I remember in CT and MN having to wait in long drive through lanes to get my car tested. In NY we had to make appointments and drop the cars off for an hour or so. I guess a guy and his dog isn't too bad after all.
