does Georgia have car or emmission inspections? We are looking at buying up in that area and several vehicles that are older. any help is apprciated thanks

Once a car turns 25 years old there is NO emmision testing required.

Mine is getting there. It's 17 now.
And I just replaced the catalytic converter this past fall (failed my first emissions test ever!), so it should be good to go for a while.

I just got my car inspected today- I went to a guy in a little hut by outside of Target. He just sits in his lawn chair with his dog waiting to charge people $25 for a few minutes of work. A little strange....
