Based on the article, it doesn't look like Porsche is going to reconsider its move to the Hapeville area, despite the plea from this organization.

Despite how someone may view Georgia's new law, I find it hard to believe that relocating a corporate HQ within Georgia will materially and adversely impact the sales of the corporation's products. Seems a bit disingenuous, in my opinion.

Yeah, I agree. Also, now that they've announced they will be in Georgia, if they actually were to cave and relocate to another state on the grounds of a possible boycott, it would surely also be bad PR and could cause many people to resent the company, both in Georgia and beyond. A foreign brand appearing to weigh in on an American political issue could be badly received, and would just thrust their name into a toxic debate they have no interest in as a corporation.

The best course of action is probably just to duck their heads and hope it all blows over without ruffling any feathers.

A number of other states probably have immigration laws that aren't much different from Georgia anyway.

I thought a bunch of states had passed essentially the same law. Is that not the case?

Not really. Utah and Arizona have. Other states have passed laws that require e-Verify for various different employers, but ours is way at the strict end of the spectrum.
