This will be an interesting purchase – I remember when the Equitable Building used to be one of downtown's premier office locations.

Crazy how bad downtown still suffers and it it wasn't for GSU the place would damn near be abandoned. This is a great location for them, right across Sparks hall and adjacent to Alumni Hall. They would then circle Woodruff Park.

?? Sparks and Alumni are on the other side of campus, off Courtland Street. I believe 55 Park Place was bought by GSU, which is across Woodruff from Equitable. This could really provide some good exposure if they're able to put GSU logos atop the building.

GSU bought the Sun Trust building a while ago. I don't think they own 55 Park Place.

Awesome, maybe new students won't have to walk up and down ramps instead of staircases because their science classes are in a former parking garage!

I'd always kind of hoped that an out of control car would crash in Sparks Hall because a whole book worth of jokes pretty writes it self that instant that happens.

God look at how big those blocks are east of Peachtree Center Ave compared to the ones in Fairlie Poplar. I'm still gunning for GSU to buy that old abandoned hotel with the zigzag balconies on John Wesley Dobbs Ave. It could make some great dorms.
