My wife is going bonkers. I have to get her out of here. I have to see what my attorney says on this and go with her counsel. How much is a tow strap/chain? I will try first thing tomorrow morning and let all know what I am dealing with then... I hope they have agreed to remove the pillars like their attorney is advising them to do. My feeling is that they must have told their attorney that they are not going to go with their advice.

PM me tho and I can give u more details...

Could you back out the car and just run over that tiny hedge of bushes - maybe take them out and replant them first? You may not even have to move those concrete blocks. That would **** off the HOA president a lot more.

Remove those blocks yourself, buy one of these 2 ton hoists from home depot, move the blocks but keep the hoist until the return period is almost over in case they put them back.

Oops - sorry I used the p word. Didn't know that would be censored. I guess I meant that it would make the HOA President a lot more angry.

Seriously?
There are businesses that rent tools and equipment by the day. No need to stoop to ripping off Home Depot.

In my community the HOA / management of HOA has booted cars that are on the driveway for non-payment of dues. I am guessing the HOA know what they are entitled to do.

Shown up on Anandtech. If someone throws it up on Reddit I bet it would explode. Lots of internet hate for HOAs in general, and that hate hasn't been fed in a while.

OP, put an ad on craigslist:
"Free concrete blocks"

Here is the Fire Code for Sandy Springs GA

http://www.sandyspringsga.org/SandySprings/media/Documents/Fire/fire_checklist.pdf

Read #2, they're clearly violating the Fire Code, as it blocks access to your home for emergency vehicles.

Notify the Fire Chief, he'll notify the HOA Atty, and the blocks will be gone.
