I think this is an odd list since Elton John doesn't live in Atlanta long enough to be called a resident and I don't think Newt Gingrich lives here at all.

Even if Newt Gingrich did live here, nobody gives a crap about what he says or does. He is not an influence on Atlanta at all at this point in time.

Where was Bernie Marcus? Surely he should be on the list ...

this is all wrong... Newt doesn't belong on this list at all. This must have been done by an outta towner. Tyler Perry should be on the list for starters.

Brian C. Hopkins is a wannabe journalist with no journalistic training. And certainly doesn't know the meaning of "powerful" when referring to public figures.
His list is a miss-mash of his own choicing for whatever reason(?).
He also has some lame-ass website that is suppose to be a consumer watch site. From what I read, most of it probably came from some other site(s).

I don't think it's a real article of any kind. His credentials are a bit suspect as well given his degree is from a diploma mill according to his linkedin profile. Best to ignore and chalk it up to a blog post masquerading as news.

I thought it was odd that George Chong wasn't on the list.

Most have been a slow news day today-
WSB radio was talking about this list this morning. I guess they didn't bother to do any checking either. Bunch of quacks!

My thoughts EXACTLY. Proof it's a fraudulent list...
