Hi, I'm planning to move to Atlanta to attend SCAD and I'm looking for housing (I'm not a US resident so I don`t know much about the city). I'd like some place near SCAD (or at least not so far), Budget $800 max. Easy access to public transit. Safety is really important for me!!!. I've heard Decatur is a nice spot...

Hmm. Decatur is a hike from SCAD. there are some apartments just north of there on Peachtree and the Post Biltmore isn't too far to the south. There is also Atlantic Station you could check into.

This complex is right next door to SCAD and is very popular with the students. My daughter rented a 1BR there, and got them to reduce the published monthly rent.
