Although the vast majority of them are. You find the same thing with non-Yankees.

Default Atlanta definitely stood out in my mind !

I would like to say, that being in the U.S. Navy and making a lay-over in Atlanta for a transfer to another airplane, I had an opportunity to see first-hand-impressions of how Atlanta treats guests.......Absolutely amazing ! I had smiles thrown my way from people who didn't know me from Adam, I was given waves of hello's and good byes, and the atmosphere all-in-all was one of HOME . Two thumbs up to not only and great city......but people who love people. Don't stop !!

Good job guys, I will always have good things to say about your town.

There are crappy people too. Most of those people were probably insincere.

I'm a transplant and can vouch for the friendliness of people here. Holding doors for strangers, smiling and waving at neighbors, kids being taught to say "sir" and "ma'am". People wave each other through stop signs...etc etc. It's very nice and I make sure to pay the civility forward

Atlanta is a pretty friendly city for a big city.. but Nashville people are ridiculously nice and same with Austin, TX and New Orleans people.
