As long as the weather is nice 75% of the time like Atlanta... What more can you ask for in terms of weather. I think i will also enjoy Atlanta's winter over its summer. Chicago's summer can get extreme and humid like Atlanta, but Atlanta's summers seem to be consistently in the 90s range.

Next to southern california weather.. I think the weather in Atlanta is definitely up there. If you are coming from the north (NY, Ohio, Virginia, Chicago, etc), Atlanta's weather is an upgrade. If you are moving here from Southern California, Atlanta's weather is a down grade.
you've never even been to georgia, right? i have some friends from up north, minnessota/wis and they also tried to tell me how worse their summers were than ours.

so eventually they made their way down here for a few days.

i never heard that line again

Terrifying. I live in northern Cherokee County, about 50 miles from the city. My house sits at the base of a steep, winding road into a valley. There are gorgeous views of the Blue Ridge mountains at the top, but it's a rollercoaster to the bottom.

I had one drive home from work last winter that turned out to be the scariest drive of my entire life. I was driving my husband's truck, but 4WD doesn't help a bit on ice. We're moving into the city in a few weeks; I hope never to repeat that experience.

Southwestern MN summers can be very hot, and I would say at times more uncomfortable than down here for a short period of time, but the summer here is much much much longer.
