We had a tradition of going to the Gardens in October---loved the scarecrow exhibits---but the admission is $18.95! Has it gone up a lot? This seems very expensive to me. It's not like a major botanical garden like in Montreal where you can actually spend the whole day there.

Do y'all think it's worth it?

I think it's slightly steep, but since photography is a hobby of mine, I usually get some great shots while there, so feel like I'm getting my money's worth, overall.

Check LivingSocial or Groupon.com(s). They have frequent deals for ABG on there.

Yeah, it is a little pricey, but I think it is pretty cool. These days it costs like ten bucks to go to a movie, and I think the Botanical Garden is twice as good as doing that...

I've never been because of the price so can't say. I will say though most places here that are pricey are not worth it IMO but I am one of those people who if I am spending a ton of money at some place, I need to be entertained or see something spectacular.

When I first went to the Aquarium I paid full price (and it was lower then than it is now). It wasn't worth the money to me but I'm not a fish person. Even my nephew who I took and who was 11 at the time didn't enjoy it much. So I will never go back and pay full price. Luckily I know a lady who works at the Aquarium and she can get me free tickets so I have been again. I can also get free tickets to the Botanical Garden so may go sometime in the next few weeks to see it since I can go for free.
