The more you look for them the more you'll notice them. Cell phone towers are popping up every where. Do you know if it is safe to live around them? I've been reading more and more about RF radiation. It seems my fiance and I have found the perfect lot, perfect floor plan but we will need to live with having a cell phone toward around 300 yards away from our back yard and don't know if it will be safe to live by.

I don't think that's an issue. As a matter of fact, the radio wave is found everywhere in the space where we live unless there is no cell phone signal found on the device where cell phone radio wave doesn't exist or is too weak to be detected.

While I personally wouldn't want to live that close to one, I think it's probably ok. The thing people sometimes do that I would NEVER do is live right next to or under the large power lines you see running through subdivisions here and there.

Resale would be a concern for me. Everyone always likes to buy new, but when it comes to resale, I think things like this really matter. Not to say it won't bother some people, but you will rule out the ones it does bother.

BTW- when the leaves come back on the trees, the tower just about vanishes, and when his house gets built, I won't even be able to see that tower from mine......

I have to agree, because we turned down a house within view of a tower. Why take the chance when so many other properties don't have the same issue? JMO.

I'd have to agree. That is probably safe health wise but I'd be concerned with the resale with the housing market as it is. I probably would not consider a house with a tower so close.

Oh, I went to look at a house right NEXT to one of the huge towers. I'm surprised they were allowed to build so close to one. I swear inside the place my watch went backwards and my arm hairs stood up. LOL
