I'll be staying in Downtown Atlanta and I won't have a car.

Which shopping centres accessible by train have a Walmart or a Target-type store?

I'd prefer train because (at least for me) the metro system is generally easier to figure out than the busses in a new city.

You can take MARTA to Lenox Station where there is a very nice Target in reasonable walking distance

Target - Buckhead - Atlanta, GA

You should also be able to take MARTA to the Arts Center Station and grab a shuttle to Atlantic Station where there is a Target

And if you get off at Midtown station, there is a Publix grocery store within a block.

If you want Walmart #74 from 5 points goes past Gresham Park Walmart. There is a Walmart 2 Blocks from Chamblee Station.

Take #82 from College Park station straight to Camp Creek Marketplace

I think every major Shopping Center is well served by MARTA.

Lindbergh Plaza has a Target. It's located across from the Lindbergh MARTA Station.

Home

Another is the Super Target on Perimeter Center Pl. near the Dunwoody MARTA Station.
