A few years ago when we lived over that way, nearly all the residents on Gladewood Drive in Johns Creek would put up elaborate light displays. If they are still doing it, it's worth the visit. Off of Abbotts Bridge Road near Jones Bridge Road.

I was just going to pose this EXACT SAME question!!!!

When I was growing up, people always knew the neighborhoods with the best lights and would cruise through them just to look. I've never seen any really good neighborhoods in Atlanta, so I would also love to know this!

I don't know if you noticed, but St. Ives did a really nice job with their entrance on Medlock Bridge Road. Some of the other neighborhoods around there also have nice looking entrances.

yeah, a lot of the subdivisions have nice entrances around here. so i figured at least one of these neighborhoods should have some nice displays of lights. I have family coming in for christmas and though it would be nice to drive through and enjoy.

If anyone sees any particularly cool displays, pics would be great.

The Lights of Life (http://www.life.edu/lightsoflife - broken link) at Life University in Marietta is one of the best light displays I have ever seen. We drive through it every year.

Oh yes, we live on the adjacent street, so I can tell you that the lights are still great this year on Gladewood Dr. (30005), located in Hillbrooke. Make sure to drive around the rest of the neighborhood too, as most homes have decorated this year. Enjoy the Holidays!!!

My husband and I just got back from Gladewood dr in the Hillbrooke subdivision, and it was definitely a show of lights! it was very nice and pretty much the entire subdivision was decorated. Gladewood dr. had its own special treats though. very cool, I highly recommend it!

I hope to check out some holiday lights next weekend. Great suggestions. Keep 'em coming. Anything good in Gwinnett?
