When I lived in Duluth, I still shopped there. Mostly for Macy's and Express. I kinda enjoyed the emptiness of it. I knew that the lack of shoppers was unsustainable but it was a welcome alternative to places like Lenox and Perimeter.

I'm surprised Abercrombie held out that long. It was a vestige of a time (late 90's) when the mall was wildly successful.

I know. I'm actually shocked that A&F is still there?

I had been shocked that Payless was still in there, given that that's the only location for quite a ways. Then, I saw they went into bankruptcy in 2017, and figured they'll just sink that store with the mall.

Wow. That is not a good sign for a mall (like Gwinnett Place or otherwise) when people actually go there so that they can shop in what has basically become an empty building.
