hey everyone, it's a hard economic time. so i'm looking to make a list, probably inside the perimeter but otp is okay, too, of places where you can get good food (not "fast food" with exceptions for local places) for cheap. i'm talking about $7 a person, maybe $9 max including a drink. really cheap. but also really good.

let me start out:

eats (on ponce de leon)
yeah! burger (in va-highland)

Taqueria del Sol - Tacos are about $3 each. Rice/beans... sold separately.

You can be really cheap and eat the oranges that are in a big bowl on a table for dessert like I saw some GA Tech students doing.

There are good cheap eats in Fairlie Poplar next to Georgia State in Downtown. Most of these places are under $10 for lunch: Rosa's Pizza, Alli Babas (Turkish), Calypso Cafe (Caribbean), some other places, forget now the names ... etc.

Taco Mac, it's a small chain and maybe a little on the high end, but its still fairly cheap and they are usually pretty good.

Another one, Tex Mex Cantina(I think thats what its called) in downtown Decatur. VERY VERY GOOD food and reasonably priced.
