Does anyone live in Dallas, GA? How can I go about finding out about activities - especially for young children? Also, are there any good mothers day out programs where a mom can drop off her child for a couple of hours that is afforable?

There is a board for Paulding residents at Paulding.com FASTREAD, and if you go into the "Internet Cafe" room you'll find a lot of the stay-at-home mom types who know everything about everything going on there. Dallas is in Paulding County.

Note - they tend to get a bit overly excited about things like free taco days at local restaurants or stuff like that (lack of adult interaction I think), but if you look around that, there's stuff they can steer you toward.

For a mother's day out sort of place look for a Stay and Play. I have seen mixed reviews about it on here but my nephew would go there sometimes and he actually really liked it. If your child is very small then you might just want to see if you can find a local day care or two that take drop-ins. However, for children around 3 and older a place like Stay and Play is a lot of fun.
