Yeah, as long as you're the primary parent, they treat the others like second class parents and feel they can give parenting advise without prompting. Clean and all, but when 3 and 4 year olds can't recognize their own names, nothing is being taught.

And I TOTALLY recommend Great Beginnings daycare in Dacula. They are the best!!!

All the schools in Gwinnett county are over crowded or will be shortly. If you are concerned about crowded schools then Gwinnett is not the place for you. Personally I love Dacula, I've lived here my entire life. It's not the nice little town it used to be but still better than most cities in Gwinnett. But all the schools are over flowing. it's just a fact.

Hey Lisa,

I live in Dacula and the area is very nice, safe, kid-friendly and clean. It's 35 miles from downtown Atlanta and the commute is brutal. We have the Mall of Georgia out here in Buford, which is about 5 minutes away. Several subdivisions to choose from and very suburban. I love it, but I'm going to relocate because of the outrageous commute into downtown. Never had any problems. My kids attend Fort Daniel Elementary and it's been a pretty good school. And it's the Garage Sale Capital of the World. Lovely place.
