Mtta Trolley Co which operates street cars in the downtown Marietta area is coming to Atlanta. They will operate in the downtown Peachtree St area and conduct tours to the area tourist and historical destinations.

Interesting. Here is the article from the Marietta Daily Journal: Branching out Marietta Trolley owners buy Atlanta tourism company

Hey, at least this trolly will pass by the other major hotels downtown (something the official trolly won't do, for the most part). So tourists and conventioneers will now have a "trolly option" after all - and it took a Marietta company to provide it (??). I wish them the best of luck with their new business. I'm sure they'll do well.

This is true, but its technically not a streetcar. They will be great for tourism in downtown. As long as it doesn't get crowded like Savannah.

Looks like a neat service. I hope they are successful.

I think it would be great if they got some double-decker buses so that people could sit up top and have a better view of the sights. I took a double-decker bus tour in Chicago and it was a surprisingly cool way to see a lot of neat buildings and sights.

Great news. Mayrettans tend to be pretty efficient so I'd expect this to be a well run operation.
