Yes. There are enough sheep who listen to the incendiary, divisive hate speech out there in the black community for something bad to happen.
Please explain...

You ever notice how it's always the white folks that are quick to yell "it's not a race issue...".... As if they'd actually know? Pure comedy.

Let's say that Zimmerman is a total racist.

Let's say it was a racist killing.

Does that mean this one (relatively isolated) incident deserves more attention than the 100x bigger problem of black on black violence?

Which has taken more lives and harms the black community more today?

I really despise racists, but I also find it absurd that any time someone points out the much bigger problems within the black community (and especially when other blacks point this out) they are shouted down.

Can somebody explain exactly what this has to do with Atlanta? Considering Zimmermann lives in Florida?

Agreed, not an Atlanta issue. I would also point out, every day more information is revealed. It's too early to jump on any bandwagons.

riots like rodney king very rarely exist in castle doctrine states... no need to explain why.
it's hard for people to accept they were wrong. even harder if fueled by emotions.
even though this is not an atlanta issue, it's has spread across the country, including D.C.

i believe Zimmerman was justified, but if he goes to trial and is convicted. then sucks to be him. i'm not going to join a protest march. there's more important things i'm concerned with, such as rising gas prices.

Maybe because he stalked a kid and then killed the kid?

And has not been held or charged yet...

Now I fully support this incident being properly investigated and the person punished if he is guilty but all of the race baiters coming out of the woodwork over this with nonsensical claims about how the white man is the cause of all the problems in the black community and they are "just not gonna take it anymore" or whatever, is just absurd when black on black violence is a 100x (or more) bigger problem than these kinds of isolated incidents.
It's really much bigger than a black/white problem, it's a haves/have nots problem. The haves who are much smaller group than that cliched "1%", have always positioned the "white have-nots against the black have-nots" using racial supremacy. This has always distracted the "white have-nots" from realizing that they are in the same boat as the "black have-nots" that some feel superior too, and hate so much.

White/Black/Brown/Red and Yellow are all being distracted and getting shafted...we all need to wake-up and start playing chess, instead of checkers.

Again, the same thing happens WAY more often in non-racially mixed murders.

You just never hear about those.

There are countless black communities across the country that have had their sons killed like this.

The reason it could become an Atlanta issue is because it is a racially heated case and Atlanta has a very high African American population that is deeply rooted in civil rights issues.

If it leads to action from the African American community, there is a good chance it would impact Atlanta in terms of possible protests, pundits, etc. It has become a national issue.
