My husband and I are looking for cities outside Atlanta, we're looking on Fulton county or North east Dulluth, Suwanne, Alpharetta, or Stateborogh

Any suggestions of what place will be better? We have a 14 years old, so, safe schools are very important.

Also I'm a teacher what is the best county for schools?

Thanks

Lilook.

Default Looking in NE GA

You are looking in the correct area wanting NE Ga. Statesboro is in south Ga. Gwinnett, Hall, Walton are all good areas that are growing with Gwinnett being the largest, most populated, best school system. That said you first need to look at your needs. What line of work are you going to do, the commute to and from work everyday will be one oft he biggest factors with Atlanta. Next look at the schools systems if needed, take into consideration that shopping, dining, entertainment, etc. Once you find the area you want to look at you need to see what kind of home you want. They is a lot of inventory out there so practically anything is possible depending on income and price range you can afford. Atlanta is a very large sprawled out area. The metro area is consisted of 13 major counties and the northeast side has about 4 to 6 of them depending on where you draw the lines and how far towards Atlanta you want to get. The closer you get the more pricey the homes are and the more traffic you have to deal with....Bill
