Are you suggesting that wall street and various other banking institutions couldn't possibly have acted in an ethical manner because the government made them act in that way?

Really?

Hasn't that crap theory been debunked enough in the press?

Had friends visit from Alabama for the July 4th. They demanded to eat at the Varsity. It was packed, very busy, and delicious. The frosted orange is hard to beat ANYWHERE, nothing better on a hot summer day.

When is the government going to step in and "Fix" the greedy colleges that are creating student debt? That is another perfect example of the government becoming involved and totally f-ing up a system that wasn't broken. I can't wait for them to step in and "fix" this situation while demonizing everyone but the root cause; governmental interference.
The bolded statement makes absolutely no sense.

You have it absolutely backwards, it was the lack of gov't involvement that created the environment that brought on this economic crisis, but that's all irrelevant to the President going to the Varsity.

By the way, I have always wondered this about the Varsity. Are only African Americans allowed to work there? If so, is that legal?
I went there in 2010, and I saw many mexicans working there. Food was not all that, but it is a landmark, so thats whats up.

well you have to think about it statistically, atlanta is 90% black according to the latest Census so naturaly everyone working there will be black.

54% is the actual number. And if the current trend continues, blacks are on the way to being under 50% in a few years.
