I'm planning on moving to Midtown in the next month and I'm trying to find the best website for apartment rental listings (other than apartment finder, zillow, trulia, etc.) Preferably one that includes apartments in the high rises. Thanks for the help!

Stop looking on your own and just use Promove. It's 100% free (i.e. the complex pays) and it's no stress/hassle.

Like CQ Holt suggested - go to “Promove” http://www.promove.com/ as a starting point. It’s a free service and is really good for identifying quality complexes in the area. You basically tell them your criteria and they send over a listing of maybe 10-30 apartments/condos that fit your range.

The neat thing is – they don’t come with you to see the units –so you never feel pressured into choosing a specific unit/location. Plus they have the info as of the date you request it (e.g. no occupancy, only 2 bedrooms etc) and list any special offers.

One thing I didn’t realize is most complexes don’t come with washer/dryer, but there are plenty of services that rent out units/deliver, so it’s nothing to sweat.
