I moved into a complex in clarkston georgia in april of this year. At that time the rental agent told me that some of the amenities were being upgraded, including the pool, which would be up and ready to go by the beginning of the summer season. It is now July and we still have no pool, no "state of the art" fitness room, no tennis or basketball courts no safe play ground/area for kids and no laundry facilities. I pay over $700 a month, and would have never moved to this location or paid this amount of rent, had i known that these amenities would not be available. According the the leasing office, they don't know for sure when any of these will be ready. Is there any recourse for tenants in this situation?. Is this grounds for getting out of my lease? It just doesnt seem fair....i am not getting my monies worth.
