hello,

im new here in this forum, i will move from switzerland to mcdonough for buiseness, im an blacksmith, craftsmen and designer.

i was this summer the 10 time in ga, usually aroudn 8 weeks during the summer but mainly at helen, Alpine Helen Georgia Convention and Visitors Bureau - Blue Ridge Mountains on the Chattahoochee River or Helen, Georgia - Live Web Cam in downtown an bavarian, swiss style village where i have swiss friends and tasty food like home.

as im new in the mcdonough area, was first time last summer there, i looking for suggestions where to go, shopping, nature places, now the high falls state park but looking for others too, shootingranges for target practice and maybe theres an forum from mcdonough i did not find?

maybe theres swiss, germans or austrians in the area? or other people that speaks german to keep up the languise?

any suggestions welcome!

i live in McDonough and some good area for shopping would be tanger outlets that is in Locust Grove, some state parks nearby are stone mountain(about a 30 min drive), we have a pretty cool lake here 20 miles SE of Mcdonough called Lake Jackson, you can go there for swimming in the summertime, I don't know any about shooting ranges here, but you can bet that there are some closeby.
