Me and my family will be relocating within the next few months to Georgia. I will be working in downtown Atlanta, but i do not wish to live in Atlanta. I would like to live in the closest county, with good schools(middle school),neighborhoods and a short commute to downtown Atlanta. The nearest county to Atlanta seems to possess the main qualities we desire are in Cobb county. My budget for housing is $700-$1000, 3/2 or 4/2 preferably a house, but if not a townhouse or apartment is fine. I would like to know am heading in the right direction and if not feel free to give suggestions

Also my husband will not have a job upon arrival and is currently employed by our county water and sewer department and has been employed with the county for 20 years. If you have any suggestions in reference to companies he should seek employment considering his background in water and sewer management.

www.governmentjobs.com has a few water jobs for Dekalb and Atlanta Watershed listed.
