I remember this thread. I enjoyed rereading this. Try living in Charlotte where most walmarts aren't 24/7 and no grocery stores at 24/7. And if ur two miles outside the city you better have gas because chances are the gas station is closed. You never appreciate a late night run until you can't make one.

Do you all think downtown can support three waffle houses? I've eaten at the GSU one several times, wouldn't dare set foot at the underground one and prolly with go to the Centennial one. Don't forget Landmark Diner on Luckie is also 24/7 I like that one the most

What's so wrong with UA? Not like the cooks are trying to poison you.

For starters the 20% surcharge and I wouldn't want to eat while I stare at people just loitering outside and selling cds etc. if it was at the old Mick's location downstairs sure, but I just don't like where it is situated right there.

Large parts of NYC are not 24 hrs yes, however it is absurd to claim that Atlanta is more 24hrs than NYC.

Like I said a million times with no answer, prove it? Back up your claims. It could be but I need to see proof

New York is far more crowded than Atlanta so there will be more people outside on the streets at night but that don't mean everything is open. I'm sure not everyone sleeps at 10 pm in Atlanta but people are still up and doing stuff. The difference is that people drive in Atlanta for the most part whereas in New York people use the subways and walk. I been to New York as I'm sure many others have as well everything is not open all night. In some areas, you hardly see a person at night and then you got certain areas where there are more people out at night. I'm sure if night clubs weren't forced to close at 3 am in Atlanta, there would be far more people out at night. I remember the streets were packed with people before that area in Buckhead was closed down. There are many 24 hour places in atlanta where one can eat at all hours or shop. New York is called the city that never sleeps but that don't mean it's open all night.
