Exactly. We had this problem taking our kid to soccer. My husband works inChamblee and takes our kid to soccer several times a week in Tucker. He knows all the backroads andwe were still stuck.

I don't. My husband doesn't. Most of my friends don't. Dropping seeral hundred dollars, plus a service plan on a phone is just a luxury we can't afford. We have to buy gutters and a new furnace.
You can get smartphones for like $50, and MetroPCS offers unlimited data, text, and talk for $50/month. I can understand a new furnace, but gutters are not a requirement.

Gutters certainly comes before a phone. We like our fascia unrotted, but YMMV. You do realize that $50 month is $600 a year, right? For a phone!? Nope. That's why we don't have cable. Like I said, luxury.

Gutters can be a requirement depending on the type of house, elevation, and water runoff situation.

Dramatic much ? You aren't familiar with most of the metro area so you need navigational help. I doubt, it would have been as much help over the weekend because a lot of people were doing the same thing to avoid the backups on 285 but it would still have been a help in your case.

You can get a GPS for under 60$ on Amazon.

Amazon.com: 4.3 Touch Screen LCD WinCE 6.0 GPS Navigator w/ FM/TF/3.5mm Jack/Internal Brazil Map (4GB): GPS & Navigation

Didn't you just spend $850 on a old couch?

That's gotta be tough. Couldn't imagine trying to deliver to any of the Peachtrees without getting confused.
