Me too. These things just bring out the worst in people.

Thanks for your replies. Decided to bite the bullet and get it over with. Went to the only polling place open today in Gwinnett. Arrived at 7; they opened at 8. There were about 100 people ahead of us; some people had arrived at 5:45 a.m. Once the doors opened at 8, we got in quickly and were done at 8:20.

I was just happy to see that there were so many people voting. I actually know a couple of people who could never be bothered to vote.

It took 10 minutes or less when I went to vote last week at the Tax Commissioner office on Memorial. I didn't want to take a chance on the bubbas at the state legislature pulling a fast one on me at the last minute.

First time voting here in state of Georgia. Wait was 30 mins at the Norcross location. Was surprised that the candidates arent listed alphabetically (Mitt Romney listed before Barack Obama). I wonder what that was about.

I've learned to never be surprised about anything in the south. You will be far healthier in life for thinking ths way.

Less than 10 minutes for me in Canton. Got to vote for myself, as I'm running for City Council in Holly Springs, so that was pretty cool.
