Everyone,
On another thread, someone mentioned a Georgia Tuition Scholarship for elementary students in private schools in Georgia. I was not aware that scholarships existed for elementary school students. I cannot locate anything online. Does anyone have details?

Georgia taxpayers have the option to redirect a portion of their state taxes to fund scholarships at a private school of their choice. The school itself than doles out the money as they wish. This is one of the organizations that manage the process: Apogee Scholarship Fund | Tax Credit Scholarship Program | Atlanta, Georgia .

Many private schools award these on a need basis. It is illegal for a parent to dedicate part of their tax dollars to this fund and then directly get it back. I am certain it happens, but it isn't suppose too. If any school is making such assurances, they are breaking the law.
