Google seems to only give me Checker Cab but I've only had bad experiences with them and I have to catch a flight tomorrow. Any recommendations?

I like über. It's an iPhone/android app and it's basically an on-call sedan service. It costs a little more than a taxi, but you get to request what type of sedan or SUV you want. They picked me up once in a Mercedes something-or-other.

Their charges are based on the speed they're going. So if you're on a freeway the meter goes up a bit rather than if you're sitting in traffic.

On the app, a map screen shows you how close your driver is to picking you up and you also get their picture and ratings from other passengers. For Atlanta they work anywhere within the perimeter. I used them in DC too.

Anyway, if you're feeling a bit adventurous check out their web site: www.uber.com
They usually can pick you up in 20 minutes or less, I think.

I have used them all- for no stress, quick pick up def uber, but you will be paying a bit more. Typically for new users though they have coupons. Other then that there are a lot- Lenox, Checker, Rapid, etc. Unfortunately all of these are hit or miss. When taximagic first came out (app on your phone), I was getting cabs in 10 mins. Now with Taxi magic I have gotten taxi's in 10 mins and other times waited an hour. A lot of it also depends on the time you are traveling.
